Delano Miami Beach is the original Philippe Starck-designed property from 1995 — the hotel that effectively launched South Beach's modern luxury era. After a multi-year renovation, the hotel reopened in 2025 with the original Starck white-on-white interiors restored and updated, plus new dining and a refreshed pool program. The 195 rooms and suites are deliberately spare, with all-white palettes and oversized windows. The pool — set in a long, narrow garden under palm shadows — was the original see-and-be-seen pool of South Beach and remains one of the property's defining features.
