The Shore Club Resort and Residences, Auberge Resorts Collection is the renovation of the original Shore Club hotel — David Chipperfield's seminal 1940 Art Deco property on Collins Avenue, restored and reopening under the Auberge umbrella in 2026. The original modernist landscape designed by Bridget Restivo is being preserved, and the heritage building's Robert Stern-style geometry will be retained on the exterior. The interiors are being fully redesigned by Studio MK27 (Marcio Kogan), Brazil's leading minimalist architect. The 60 hotel rooms and 100 branded residences will share access to the beach club, the Auberge Spa, three restaurants, and a redesigned pool deck. Auberge's hospitality formula — boutique scale, deep design intent, ultra-personal service — fits the property's heritage well.
